We are a self-funded group. All expenses related to the project, including project materials for all activities, cost of venue, transportation for the children, breakfast, lunch and evening tea and cost of outing, among others are borne by the family affair team itself, with no financial burden to the host organization. The money is raised in Singapore with generous donations from family affair members and good friends who believe in the cause of doing charity work.
All personal expenses incurred by team members (including travel, accommodation, food, etc.) are paid-for by the respective team members. We make a very clear distinction between the team members' fund and the project fund.
All contributions from friends go only into the project fund. Hence, whatever you give will be given 100% to the children.
At family affair, we believe that each one of us can do our bit to make at least one child happy, a child who has nothing and no one. Let us spread this goodwill of love and hope. And you too can be a part of it.
If you are interested in knowing how you can help, please contact us using the details on the "Contact us" page
Please note:
- All donations, in kind or cash, are given voluntarily as friends of the group
- We do not have a permit with the Ministry of Home Affairs to solicit funds
- Your donations are NOT tax free
- We are not a religious or government-affiliated group
